Job Description

Novastar Prep is seeking dedicated part-time tutors to work 1:1 with students in a supportive, fully remote environment. Tutors set their own hours and teach subjects including mathematics, English language arts, science, social studies and test preparation (PSAT, SAT, ACT, GRE, MCAT, LSAT), plus college application advising. Pay starts at $25 to $35 per hour with bi-weekly direct deposit.

Responsibilities

- Tutor students 1:1 online in your subject areas
- Build lasting relationships by working consistently with the same students
- Track student progress over time
- Prepare students for standardised tests (PSAT, SAT, ACT, SOLs, GRE, MCAT, LSAT)
- Guide students through college essays, applications and interview preparation
- Maintain a supportive, personalised tutoring environment

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
- Strong academic background in your tutoring subjects
- Passion for helping students succeed
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote setup
- Consistent availability for scheduled sessions
