Job Description

Responsibilities
- Support secondary students with language acquisition and diverse learning needs
- Contribute to emotional support, stress management and behavioural support for students' well-being
- Work within the dedicated Support Team alongside Learning Support Specialists, Counsellors and Psychologists
- Continually review, reflect on and report on the support needs of students in your care
- Maintain an open channel of discussion with parents about students' progress
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (Hons) in English Language or English Literature
- Experience supporting students with different levels and kinds of learning needs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with students, parents and colleagues
- Ability to review, reflect on and report on individual students' support needs
- Commitment to an inclusive, multicultural and multilingual learning environment
- A collaborative, reflective working style suited to a specialist support team
