Responsibilities

- Plan, define, and establish enterprise data warehouse architecture, data management processes, and analytics solutions.
- Provide technical leadership to the Data Engineering team in delivering secured, consistent, reliable, and sustainable data solutions.
- Assess, develop, and implement new data management and integration capabilities to improve efficiency and end-user experience.
- Establish development guidelines, standards, and best practices for data management and pipeline performance.
- Lead data engineering and BI projects, running requirements sessions with business and technical users.
- Review technical design documents — integration specs, data models, data marts, BI reporting, and dashboards.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, data science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years in data architecture and related areas (data warehouse, data lake, data management, BI), with expertise in warehouse design, data modelling, ETL architecture, performance tuning, and solution architecture.
- Strong SAS programming skills (Base SAS, SAS DI Studio, SAS Macro) and strong SQL (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar).
- Experience in data governance, data security, and data quality frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions and reviews.
