Job Description

Among the most exciting jobs in denmark europe for audio engineers, SOUNDBOKS is hiring an Acoustic Engineer for its Product Development team in Copenhagen, Denmark, with a start date of October 2026 or as soon as possible. The company builds famously loud, durable Bluetooth speakers used at festivals and parties, and this full-time role owns the acoustic development that brings new products to life. You will work across the whole journey from concept and simulation to supplier collaboration and mass production.

Responsibilities

- Select and design acoustic components based on product and market requirements.
- Define initial enclosure concepts and build proof-of-concept prototypes to validate acoustic ideas.
- Collaborate with Mechanical Engineering during the early product development phase to mature acoustic concepts.
- Run acoustic simulations focused on sound pressure level, sound quality, and system efficiency.
- Validate simulation results through physical testing and refine components with suppliers.
- Own the technical specification of loudspeaker drivers and support manufacturing verification.
- Work with the Audio team on signal handling, including crossovers, compressors, and limiters.

Requirements

- Proven experience designing and simulating loudspeakers, including transducer design and specification, enclosure design, and acoustic measurement.
- BSc or higher in audio, acoustics, mechanical, or a related engineering discipline.
- Track record of using simulation and measurement together to validate and refine designs.
- Experience taking loudspeaker development from concept through verification, ideally with external manufacturing partners.- Familiarity with crossover design, FEM simulations, or failure analysis is an advantage.
- Independent, ownership-driven working style with strong cross-disciplinary collaboration skills.
